Day 1 – 21 Days of deep

During our “Out of the Shallows” series, Micah has challenged our church to dive deep into a daily habit of reading scripture. Not reading it just to read it, but reading it to draw out the application and do something about it. We’d love for you to join us on that journey. We believe this simple practice can and will transform your life. You get out of it, what you put in, so let’s go deep together.

How’s how it’s going to work, check our Facebook Page or Instagram Account and/or Website blog each day to see what the central verse will be and then follow the SOAP method of bible study.

Today’s Verse:

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

– Paul, Romans 8:35–36, 38–39 NIV

Now take that piece of scripture and use the SOAP method.

Post your thoughts and how God is working in your life on our Facebook Page or Instagram. We’d love to track along with you as we track along with scripture together. 21
