Covid 19, economic instability, racial injustice, presidential election, distance learning… Can God take these broken situations and make something good out of them? The answer is, Yes! Our loving Abba Father who has done it before will do it again, and again and again.
2020 has been a year of constant change. And yet our God is a solid rock, our shelter, who never changes. He is constant.
God can use your trust and confidence in Him to demonstrate His love to a friend or co-worker who really needs it right now. He can use the frustrations of distance learning to help us all appreciate teachers. God can use the funeral for a loved one to bring back together family members who have been estranged for many years.
Jesus calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee when He was in the boat with the disciples. He can calm the storm in you.
Peter changed his job of fishing for fish and became a fisher of men. God can take your job loss and give you a job with greater fulfillment and a better use of the gifts He has given you.
God took a grave and turned it into the location of the resurrection – the most amazing and glorious event ever.
He can take your fear and use it to build up your faith and trust in the God who loves you. He is willing to do anything to build relationship with you. Not rules, but relationship. Not law, but love. He’s the only God who can do all these things – and more.
